Parker, AZ (November 7, 2018) – Arizona Western College will be holding a Transfer & Career Expo on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Parker Community Center, 1109 S. Geronimo Ave. Ste. B. The expo will focus on Education, Public Safety, Health and more opportunities for current and prospective students.

Learn about what career possibilities are available within an AWC major. Explore and network with agencies and employers about current and future jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities.

SLLC club partnering with Gadsden District on art program

San Luis, AZ (November 7, 2018) – The Arizona Western College Art Curiosity and Secrets (ACAS) club is collaborating with the Gadsden Elementary School District to tutor young students as part of a new innovative art program.

AWC/NAU Science Club to host Annual Blood Drive

Yuma, AZ (November 6, 2018) – Come out and support AWC/NAU Science Club’s efforts to give back to the community this holiday season during their 3rd Annual Blood Drive.

The drive will take place Tuesday, Nov. 13, and Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E.

The AWC Alumni Association invites the community to attend their Annual Chili Cook-off on Thursday, Nov. 8. The fundraising event will be filled with award winning chili, music, and family fun with a focus on raising funds for AWC Alumni Association scholarships and programs.

KAWC Spirited Discussion Series: Arizona Highways Magazine

Yuma, AZ (October 31, 2018) – Former Arizona Highways Magazine publisher Win Holden will tell the story of how a brochure produced by the Arizona Highway Department evolved into one of the most respected and revered publications in the world during KAWC’s upcoming Spirited Discussion.

Yuma, AZ (October 25, 2018) –  Arizona Western College is inviting alumni and community partners to the annual AWC Alumni Breakfast and Hall of Fame Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 8 - 9 a.m. in the Schoening Conference Center, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. AWC’s 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees Dr. Kathryn A. Watson and Dr. George Montopoli will be honored at the breakfast.

Arizona Court of Appeals to hold oral argument at AWC

Yuma, AZ (October 24, 2018) – Arizona Western College and the Arizona Court of Appeals invite the community to attend an oral argument about the case Waltz Healing Center, Inc. v. Arizona Department of Health Services.

The oral argument will be held Friday, Nov. 2, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Avenue 8E. Participants are encouraged to arrive early to go through security for screening.
