Workshop focuses on defining students’ roles
April 12, 2018Parker, AZ (April 12, 2018) – An interactive workshop was recently held at the AWC Parker Community Center as a way to help attendees define their roles not only as students, but as individuals.
The “Who am I? Defining my Role” workshop was led by Associate Dean for La Paz County Services Katheline Ocampo. She helped those in attendance reflect on how their decisions as individuals, students, family members and more can have an effect on their ability to successfully complete their goals. Motivation, determination, barriers from reaching goals, asking for help, and connecting with others were a few of the topics discussed during the workshop.
