For the Love of the Laborer: Historical Influences and Current Work by Angel Luna
The Center for Teaching Effectiveness (CTE) at Arizona Western College presents the Noon Discovery Series 2.0 (NDS) for the AWC Community at large. The next upcoming presentation in the series is “For the Love of the Laborer: Historical Influences and Current Work” by Angel Luna, Professor of Fine Arts at AWC. The presentation takes place on Wednesday, October 26 from 12:15pm to 1:30pm in AC 126 and via ITN SLLC CR, PLC 15 and QLC 15.
Angel Luna will be presenting historical work dealing with farm labor and the immigration perspective. He will show how this work has influenced the work he has been creating for national juried and invitational exhibitions, for over a decade, to create a dialogue on this subject.
