Entrepreneurial College offers certification in HR Management

Yuma, Ariz. (March 18, 2025) – Starting this April, Arizona Western Entrepreneurial College will provide a certification for individuals pursuing careers in Human Resources Management. The versatile Society for Human Resources Management Certificate (SHRM-CP) can be applied to careers across multiple fields, significantly impacting career advancement and higher earning potential.
The certification emphasizes the behavioral competencies and knowledge essential for effective HR management, such as talent acquisition, recruitment and retention strategies, performance management, and legal compliance. Students will learn to mitigate workplace issues, maintain ethical standards, and implement HR principles in real-life scenarios.
“Earning the SHRM-CP enhances credibility, validates strategic HR expertise, and sets you apart in a competitive job market,” commented Joe Amegatcher, a graduate of the AWC Human Resources program. “Many organizations prefer or require SHRM certification for leadership roles, making it a valuable asset for career mobility. The SHRM-CP is ideal for individuals currently in HR or management roles, as well as those aspiring to move into such positions. With online and in-person courses beginning this April, interested parties are encouraged to apply.
