Communications and marketing staff earns nine NCMPR Medallion Awards
October 22, 2019Yuma, AZ (October 22, 2019) – Arizona Western College staff members were recently recognized with nine National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) Medallion Awards.
Employees earned three gold, four silver, and two bronze Medallion Awards, which are given for outstanding achievement in design and communication at two-year community and technical colleges in each of NCMPR’s seven districts. AWC competes in District 6, which consists of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, Republic of the Marshall Islands and Territory of Guam. The regional competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations professionals.
In addition to receiving awards, AWC Creative Director Leah McKeogh and Social Media/Strategic Content Specialist Sarah Herman also presented a session on the college’s successful What’s Your Why Campaign during the NCMPR District 6 Conference last month.
This year’s award-winning projects will be resubmitted at the national level and considered for NCMPR’s Paragon Awards to be announced at their national conference in March.
