AWC Jazz Ensemble to perform joint concert with Gila Ridge High School

Yuma, AZ (September 19, 2024) – Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Shawn Pollard, is set to kick off the fall semester with a joint performance with the Gila Ridge High School (GRHS) Jazz Ensemble. 

The GRHS band, under the direction of David Voster, will host the performance on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 pm in the GRHS Auditorium. Student soloists will be featured, including vocalists Dorothy Sánchez and Charles Shepherd, both music majors at AWC.

The event is free and open to the public.
