When things go wrong and a student is struggling socially or emotionally, the consequences are often not limited to the child in distress but are experienced by the class, faculty, and staff. So what shall we do? What is our role in preventing and addressing emotional dysregulation in the classroom, hallways, and beyond?

At the end of this lecture, participants will be able to:

WHAT NOW: Demonstrate trauma-informed techniques to prevent and mitigate an individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis
Career Opportunities
This 4-hour lecture will prepare school faculty and staff to identify and intervene when someone is experiencing emotional dysregulation in a trauma-informed evidence-based way through didactic and experiential learning.

K-12 school faculty and staff.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: A 100% refund will be granted if a request is made 2 business days prior to the start of class. A 50% refund will be issued if notice is received less than 2 business days prior to class. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class.
