Our Basic Plumbing Fast-Track course prepares participants for a career as skilled plumbers. It covers the concepts technicians need to safely install, test, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems for residential, commercial and public buildings. Coverage of math, drawings, code and other critical knowledges skills ensure learners are set up for job success.

Field of Interest
This certificate provides students with a basic understanding of Plumbing. Topics include standard tools, materials, and fixtures used in basic plumbing systems, joining methods used, and other related topics. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of a basic plumbing system. 

Type of Certification

Students will earn an AWC Occupational Certificate as well as craft certification from National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER) in Plumbing.

What You'll Learn

Upon completion of the class students will be able to:

• Introduction to basic plumbing techniques, procedures and related safety for tools commonly used in plumbing settings.
• Design and installation of drain, waste and vent (DWV) systems.
• Design and installation of residential water supply and water distribution systems.
• Techniques for installing residential fixtures, faucets, and appliances.
• Development of skills and techniques necessary for basic construction/ industrial maintenance craft skills.

Registration Hours: Mon - Thurs 8AM - 5PM, Fri 8AM - 4PM payments accepted via phone, or walk-in. Please make checks payable to AWC. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards accepted.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: A 100% refund will be granted if a request is made 2 business days prior to the start of class. A 50% refund will be issued if notice is received less than 2 business days prior to class. No refunds will be issued after the first day of class.
