What is Self-Service?

Link: http://selfservice.azwestern.edu

The Self-Service system encompasses several modules that allow students to plan and register for classes (Student Planning), view their financial aid (Financial Aid), pay their tuition (Student Finance), track their midterm/final grades (Grades), apply for graduation (Graduation Overview), and download various tax forms (Tax Information).  Self-Service also displays important notifications to students, such as holds on their account.  Although these tools were previously available only through WebAdvisor, all of these have been (or will be) redirected to Self-Service.  All students should be encouraged to begin using Self-Service since WebAdvisor will be eventually phased out.

Self-service provides:

  • Student planning
    • Search for classes
    • Create a schedule
    • Add or drop a waitlisted class directly from the schedule
    • Academic advising assistance
    • Registration
  • Student Finance
    • Fees can easily be paid
  • Tax Information

  • Graduation
    • Apply for graduation
