AWC Foundation scholarship cycle opens
February 16, 2023Yuma, AZ (February 16, 2023) – The Arizona Western College Foundation is committed to making education universally accessible for students. Part of this work consists of removing economic barriers through scholarships.
“Like the diverse student body at AWC, we have a diverse offering of scholarship opportunities. We encourage everyone to apply for scholarships through our user-friendly scholarship portal,” said Laura Knaresboro, AWC Foundation Chief Operating Officer.
The AWC Foundation scholarship cycle will be open until Saturday, April 1. Current and incoming students can complete one general scholarship application to qualify for any applicable scholarships awarded by the AWC Foundation. Scholarships are available in major-specific areas as well as for general education or transfer students.
“There is often a misconception about GPA and financial aid status when it comes to applying for scholarships, but each award has different criteria. Spending 30-40 minutes of your time could unlock various scholarship opportunities. Go for it!” said Gladys Anaya, AWC Foundation Development Manager.
