Myles Prower Davis joins AWC Community Band in concert
March 5, 2025The community is invited to join the Arizona Western College Community Band for a spring concert featuring special guest, Los Angeles musician Myles Prower Davis!
Throughout the evening, Davis will perform solos on the clarinet and tenor saxophone alongside the AWC Community Band and a student combo from the AWC Jazz Ensemble. Song for Bettye and An Orange Sky Always Clears, two of Davis’ original compositions, are included in the setlist. An Orange Sky Always Clears is dedicated to Altadena, Calif. following this year’s devastating fires.
The concert will be held on Monday, March 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the 3C Schoening Conference Center of the AWC Yuma Campus. A campus map can be found here.
The event is free and open to the public, although donations to benefit student scholarships will be accepted.
