September 26, 2023

Yuma, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Arizona Western College is hosting several events and activities as part of National Transfer Student Week from Oct. 16-20.

In support of the college’s efforts to double the rate of earned baccalaureate degrees in the district by 2035, AWC Transfer Services will provide virtual and in-person opportunities to assist students on their path to a university. Events are available for transfer students at AWC or current students considering earning a bachelor’s degree.

National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) was started by the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students as a celebration of transfer students and the professionals who support them.

“At Arizona Western College, we are committed to making your transfer experience seamless and successful,” said Martha Cordova, Director of AWC Transfer Services Department. “As a testament to our dedication, we've aligned with the National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students to bring you a week-long agenda of events during National Transfer Student Week."
