AWC holding community, student forums during Higher Learning Commission visit
January 23, 2019Yuma, AZ (January 23, 2019) – Arizona Western College has been accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1968. The college will continue the 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation process on Feb. 4-5, with an on-site visit from a team of peer reviewers representing the HLC.
Community members and students are invited to participate in open forums where they can give feedback and share their AWC experience with the HLC team. The community forum will begin at 8 a.m. and the student forum will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5. Both events will be held in the Schoening Conference Center located on the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Light refreshments will be served.
