Yuma, AZ (May 7, 2021) – Students who are graduating with their associate degree this spring are invited to participate in Arizona Western College’s commencement festivities. AWC will be holding two in-person ceremonies this year on May 13 and May 14 to reduce crowd sizes.
Yuma, AZ (May 6, 2021) – Arizona Western College students transferring to a university after graduation will be honored as part of an upcoming La Cosecha event. This year’s virtual celebration will begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, via Zoom.
In addition to pursuing a transfer degree, students must have also met at least one of the following criteria to apply for the recognition:

Yuma, AZ (April 22, 2021) – With May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Arizona Western College is partnering with Arizona Complete Health to raise awareness and promote action through an upcoming virtual workshop.
Yuma, AZ (April 12, 2021) – Arizona Western College will be holding a RegFest event at the San Luis Learning Center (SLLC) on Wednesday, April 21, for prospective students interested in enrolling for the Summer or Fall 2021 semester.
Attendees will have the opportunity to start the admission process, join a quick advisement session, apply for support resources, and walk away registered for classes. Parents will also have an opportunity to go to an informational session.
Yuma, AZ (April 9, 2021) – Arizona Western College will postpone the opening of Fall Registration while staff and faculty work with academic leadership to refine the schedule, so it offers a strong mix of in-person and remote or online courses.
Fall registration will begin on April 19, one week later than initially planned. The delay will allow for additional time to secure a variety of course modalities for students.
