Peter & the Wolf to be performed by AWC Civic Orchestra & Cibola Drama
February 13, 2019Yuma, AZ (February 13, 2019) – The Arizona Western College Civic Orchestra and the Cibola High School Drama Department are teaming up to bring Peter and the Wolf to life for families in the community.
The AWC Civic Orchestra, String Ambassadors, Jr. String Ambassadors, and Twinklers will be presenting a production of the theatrical, symphonic fairy tale for children at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Cibola High School, 4100 W. 20th St.
Each of the characters in this fully narrated tale are accompanied by a different instrument or group of instruments. This experience is constructed to be a child’s introduction to the orchestra and is dynamic enough to be enjoyed by parents and children alike.
Tickets are only available at the door and are first come, first serve. Tickets are $1 for attendees 18 and under and $10 for adults. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
