Four-week course offered through AWC Continuing Education 

Yuma, AZ (June 13, 2024) – Arizona Western College is launching a new Food Incubator program this month to teach aspiring entrepreneurs what it takes to start and run a successful business.

This four-week, boot camp-style course will be co-taught by AWC Professor of Accounting Dr. Kristine Duke and AWC Professor of Culinary Arts Chef Bob Gedeon.

Yuma, AZ (March 14, 2019) – Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University-Yuma are hosting their third annual Startup Weekend from April 12-14, as a way to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch new business ideas.

Participants will take giant leaps in learning the skills needed to create a business, work on a startup team, and connect with people and resources all while experiencing the highs, lows, fun, and pressure that can come along with a startup business.

Yuma, AZ (March 5, 2018) - Arizona Western College and Northern Arizona University Yuma are hosting their second Startup Weekend on March 23-25, to help aspiring entrepreneurs launch new business ideas and technologies.

Last year’s inaugural Startup Weekend resulted in several business ventures and prizes awarded to participants.
