Join us for the 5th Annual Desert Southwest Transfer Conference from March 3-6, in partnership with Arizona Western College’s university partners and Earn to Learn.
The week-long event will feature a series of transfer-focused activities to support and prepare students and alumni for a successful transition to the university of their choice.
Monday, March 3 – Yuma Transfer and Career Expo, 3C Breezeway, 10:00-1:00pm
The expo will focus on providing students, alumni of Arizona Western College, and partner university students with transfer and career information as well as full and part-time employment, volunteer, and internship opportunities.
Monday, March 3 – Transfer Center Ribbon Cutting, AWC Transfer Center, 1:00-2:00pm
Join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the AWC Transfer Center! This event marks a significant milestone in supporting students on their educational journey. The ceremony will feature a ribbon cutting, brief remarks from key leaders, and an opportunity to learn about its resources.

Transfer to a university that welcomes and values the diversity and life experiences of transfer students. Gabriela Amavizca, Earn to Learn’s Director of Scholarship and Workforce Programs, is delivering an encouraging message about educational growth and the resources that empower student achievement.
Tuesday, March 4, Arizona State University Day, 3C Breezeway/3C 2206, 10:00-2:30pm
Join us at ASU Day to learn more about the diverse degree programs offered through Arizona State University and ASU Local here at AWC, ASU’s campuses in the Greater Phoenix area, and ASU Online. Whether you are looking for an in-person, hybrid, or online college experience, ASU offers hundreds of degree programs. At ASU Day you will meet with ASU representatives to learn more about the transfer process from AWC to ASU and the comprehensive network of academic, financial, and social opportunities designed for your success.
Wednesday, March 5, University of Arizona Express Decision Day, AS Lobby, 10:00-3:00pm
You are invited to participate in the University of Arizona Express Decision Day for the chance to cut your admissions process down to ONE DAY! This is a day dedicated to future wildcats! Submit your application, receive financial aid guidance, explore different academic programs, and more! Knowing you are admitted in advance will help with scholarships and financial aid.
Thursday, March 6, Northern Arizona University Transfer Day, 3C Breezeway, 10:00-2:00pm
Join us to explore seamless transfer options from Arizona Western College to Northern Arizona University's campuses in Yuma, Flagstaff, or online, as well as other statewide locations. Come meet and explore your admission, degree options, transfer scholarships, academic and campus resources at NAU- Yuma. Start your admission application and you may be eligible to get an expedited admission decision.
