Transfer & Career Expo to highlight Business, Communications, & Education


Yuma, AZ (October 31, 2018) – Arizona Western College will be holding a Transfer & Career Expo on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the 3C Breezeway/Courtyard of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. The expo will specifically focus on Business, Communications, and Education opportunities for current and prospective students.

Learn about what career possibilities are available within an Arizona Western College major. Explore and network with agencies and employers about current and future jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities.

Seventh graders to take “First-Generation Steps” toward college


Yuma, AZ (October 30, 2019) – Arizona Western College is inviting seventh-grade students in the Talent Search program to visit campus Wednesday, Nov. 6, as part of a First-Generation Steps event.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., students will have an opportunity to explore careers and learn about pursuing higher education.  The event will begin in the South Wing of the Schoening Conference Center at the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave 8E.

Eighth-grade students to go trick-or-treating at AWC


Yuma, AZ (October 24, 2019) – Arizona Western College Talent Search is holding a Trick or Treat event for eighth-grade students in the program to help them learn about the different departments on campus.

Students will have an opportunity to tour various areas of the college, trick-or-treating in costume along the way. The group will learn about where services and offices are located, as well as the function of each department.
