AWC Winter Volleyball Camp for Ages 9-15


Arizona Western College Volleyball will be hosting their Winter Volleyball Camp for boys and girls that are ages 9-15.  The camp takes place January 3rd-January 5th from 9am to 1pm in the AWC Gym.  The cost is $75 on/or before December 22nd or $90 at the door.

1.8 Million Dollar Expansion Marks Historic Community Partnership

On Monday, December 12th, the Arizona Western College Parker Community Center was officially opened.   Dignitaries and AWC officials gathered to cut the ceremonial ribbon on the newest facility in the La Paz area. It was time to celebrate a history of community partnerships and a future of collaborations.

2016 AWC Holiday Basketball Camp for Grades K-12


Arizona Western College Men’s Basketball will be having their 2016 Holiday Basketball Camp for boys and girls that are in grades K-12.  The two day camp takes place on Monday, December 19 and Tuesday, December 20 from 8am to 12pm in the AWC Gym.  The cost is $50 until December 15th and then the cost will be $60 the day of registration.

Yuma, AZ (December 6, 2016)-The Arizona Western College Jazz Ensemble will be having their Fall Concert on Wednesday, December 7.  The concert will take place at the AWC Theater on the Yuma Campus at 7:00 pm.

Yuma, AZ (December 6, 2016) -- Western Voice, the in-print and online publication of the AWC journalism program, launched a new website this week. The site will work well on mobile devices as well as desktop computers, and it is supported on major browsers like Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer 9 and above.

YUMA, Ariz. – Defense wins championships. The old mantra has held true this football season for both Arizona Western College and Garden City Community College. Now, the top two teams in the NJCAA will meet in the title game at the El Toro Bowl in Yuma on Saturday December 3. Kick-off is set for 1:00 pm at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Yuma, AZ (November 16, 2016)-Arizona Western College Talent Search will be hosting “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” for high school students on Thursday, November 17 on the Yuma Campus in South Schoening, the East Meeting Room, and the Frances Morris Conference Room.  Students from Kofa, Parker, San Luis and Yuma high schools will be in attendance.
