Dual enrollment classes are offered at the following high schools: Kofa, Cibola, Yuma, Gila Ridge, Vista, San Luis, Antelope Union, and Parker in various academic and, career & technical education areas of study. Dual enrollment classes are offered during the regular high school day, taught by certified high school teachers, and are offered at the high school campus. You must begin the conversation with a high school counselor. If your counselor has confirmed that you are enrolled in the AWC class at your high school during the event, we can assist you with your AWC admission application. Additional forms and steps must be completed with your school to apply the course to your high school credits.
Concurrent enrollment courses are available to students ready to take a college-level course and interested in getting ahead in their college credits. Arizona Western College, in partnership with local area high schools, graduated over 60 Early College students with an Associate of Arts degree this past spring right before their high school graduation. You must begin the conversation with a high school counselor if you plan to use an AWC class towards a high school requirement. Only select classes can be applied towards high school requirements and are determined by your school and district. Additional forms and steps must be completed with your school to apply the course to your high school credits.
AWC is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, more information can be found on the AWC page at:
