Navigating the Bookstore Divide

After exploring several virtual bookstore options, the Leadership Advisory Board was tasked with developing a plan for moving forward into Fall 2023 without a bookstore, subsequently approved by Cabinet.
In order to provide support to faculty and students during the fall 2023 transition to the absence of a bookstore on campus, a creative solution had to be found. The overall plan was that students would purchase textbooks and course materials on their own through public websites and textbook vendors, but AWC would provide guidance.
This session focuses on the process of development and implementation of the plan. We will share our experiences, challenges and successes throughout this process. -
