Details: After numerous discussions at AWC within several groups representing diverse areas of the college, a committee was to determine if AWC should proceed without a physical bookstore on campus. After exploring several virtual bookstore options, the Leadership Advisory Board was tasked with developing a plan for moving forward into Fall 2023 without a bookstore, subsequently approved by Cabinet.

In order to provide support to faculty and students during the fall 2023 transition to the absence of a bookstore on campus, a creative solution had to be found. The overall plan was that students would purchase textbooks and course materials on their own through public websites and textbook vendors, but AWC would provide guidance.
