Transfer students to be honored at La Cosecha

Yuma, AZ (May 1, 2024) – Arizona Western College students transferring to a university after graduation will be celebrated as part of the annual La Cosecha event.
This year’s celebration will take place on Thursday, May 16, in the Schoening Conference Center, located in the 3C Building of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. Registration begins at 5:45 p.m. and the dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

In support of the college’s efforts to double the rate of earned baccalaureate degrees in the district by 2035, AWC Transfer Services will provide virtual and in-person opportunities to assist students on their path to a university. Events are available for transfer students at AWC or current students considering earning a bachelor’s degree.

Financial Resources Night to be held March 13
March 5, 2019Yuma, AZ (March 5, 2019) – Arizona Western College invites the public to attend Financial Resources Night on Wednesday, March 13.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with various financial resource offices about their services to help fund education and get on track with their financial health. Participants who visit at least five booths will be entered in a drawing for $50 gift cards.

During this week, students will have a chance to explore a variety of different transfer opportunities. Each day, one of the Arizona universities will be featured and a Transfer and Career Expo will also be held to provide students with the option of networking with employees and organizations for degree paths offered at participating universities.
